PAULA MEHMEL: Shoot the Rapids — A Time To Lament – UNHERALDED.FISH

Psalm 88
(0) A song. A psalm of the sons of Korach. For the leader. Set to “Sickness that Causes Suffering.” A maskil of Heiman the Ezrachi.
2 (1) Adonai, God of my salvation, when I cry out to you in the night,
3 (2) let my prayer come before you, turn your ear to my cry for help!
4 (3) For I am oversupplied with troubles, which have brought me to the brink of Sh’ol.
5 (4) I am counted among those going down to the pit, like a man who is beyond help,
6 (5) left by myself among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave —
you no longer remember them; they are cut off from your care.
7 (6) You plunged me into the bottom of the pit, into dark places, into the depths.
8 (7) Your wrath lies heavily on me; your waves crashing over me keep me down. (Selah)
9 (8) You separated me from my close friends, made me repulsive to them;
I am caged in, with no escape;
10 (9) my eyes grow dim from suffering. I call on you, Adonai, every day;
I spread out my hands to you.
11 (10) Will you perform wonders for the dead?
Can the ghosts of the dead rise up and praise you? (Selah)
12 (11) Will your grace be declared in the grave, or your faithfulness in Abaddon?
13 (12) Will your wonders be known in the dark, or your righteousness in the land of oblivion?
14 (13) But I cry out to you, Adonai; my prayer comes before you in the morning.
15 (14) So why, Adonai, do you reject me? Why do you hide your face from me?
16 (15) Since my youth I have been miserable, close to death; I am numb from bearing these terrors of yours.
17 (16) Your fierce anger has overwhelmed me, your terrors have shriveled me up.
18 (17) They surge around me all day like a flood, from all sides they close in on me.
19 (18) You have made friends and companions shun me; the people I know are hidden from me.

Dear Avi,

Blessed are YOU Adonai Elohim King of the Universe!!! My Everlasting! Toda that I finished my fast today and it is one of the hardest fast where I could only do it for 2 days. Exodus 3:16-4:17

Exodus 3
16 Go, gather the leaders of Isra’el together, and say to them, ‘Adonai, the God of your fathers, the God of Avraham, Yitz’chak and Ya‘akov, has appeared to me and said, “I have been paying close attention to you and have seen what is being done to you in Egypt; 17 and I have said that I will lead you up out of the misery of Egypt to the land of the Kena‘ani, Hitti, Emori, P’rizi, Hivi and Y’vusi, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’ 18 They will heed what you say. Then you will come, you and the leaders of Isra’el, before the king of Egypt; and you will tell him, ‘Adonai, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now, please, let us go three days’ journey into the desert; so that we can sacrifice to Adonai our God.’ 19 I know that the king of Egypt will not let you leave unless he is forced to do so. 20 But I will reach out my hand and strike Egypt with all my wonders that I will do there. After that, he will let you go. 21 Moreover, I will make the Egyptians so well-disposed toward this people that when you go, you won’t go empty-handed. 22 Rather, all the women will ask their neighbors and house guests for silver and gold jewelry and clothing, with which you will dress your own sons and daughters. In this way you will plunder the Egyptians.”

Exodus 4

1 Moshe replied, “But I’m certain they won’t believe me, and they won’t listen to what I say, because they’ll say, ‘Adonai did not appear to you.’” 2 Adonai answered him, “What is that in your hand?” and he said, “A staff.” 3 He said, “Throw it on the ground!” and he threw it on the ground. It turned into a snake, and Moshe recoiled from it. 4 Then Adonai said to Moshe, “Put your hand out and take it by the tail.” He reached out with his hand and took hold of it, and it became a staff in his hand. 5 “This is so that they will believe that Adonai, the God of their fathers, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitz’chak and the God of Ya‘akov, has appeared to you!”
6 Furthermore Adonai said to him, “Now put your hand inside your coat.” He put his hand in his coat; and when he took it out his hand was leprous, as white as snow. 7 Then God said, “Now put your hand back in your coat.” He put his hand back in his coat; and when he took it out, it was as healthy as the rest of his body. 8 “If they won’t believe you or heed the evidence of the first sign, they will be convinced by the second. 9 But if they aren’t persuaded even by both these signs and still won’t listen to what you say, then take some water from the river, and pour it on the ground. The water you take from the river will turn into blood on the dry land.”
10 Moshe said to Adonai, “Oh, Adonai, I’m a terrible speaker. I always have been, and I’m no better now, even after you’ve spoken to your servant! My words come slowly, my tongue moves slowly.” 11 Adonai answered him, “Who gives a person a mouth? Who makes a person dumb or deaf, keen-sighted or blind? Isn’t it I, Adonai? 12 Now, therefore, go; and I will be with your mouth and will teach you what to say.”
13 But he replied, “Please, Lord, send someone else — anyone you want!” 14 At this, Adonai’s anger blazed up against Moshe; he said, “Don’t you have a brother, Aharon the Levi? I know that he’s a good speaker. In fact, here he is now, coming out to meet you; and he’ll be happy to see you. 15 You will speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I will be with your mouth and his, teaching you both what to do. 16 Thus he will be your spokesman to the people, in effect; for you, he will be a mouth; and for him, you will be like God. 17 Now take this staff in your hand, because you need it to perform the signs.”

Avi Yakar,

Hallelujah to YOUR Name! Even when Moshe felt inadequate and unqualified for the job, YOU have chosen him and YOU never allowed him to say no! I like that about YOU Abba, because YOU knew his heart and I pray for my Moshe, Anthony Wahl that he will have a heart more humble than Moshe and that he will not say no to what YOU call him to do but he will feel confident and happy that YOU have called him for such things, with fear and trembling Anthony will serve YOU like Moshe.

Ba HaShem YESHUA HaMashiach, Amen!

Joshua 16
8 From Tapuach the border went westward to Vadi Kanah and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Efrayim according to their families, 9 together with the cities set aside for the descendants of Efrayim inside the territory to be inherited by the descendants of M’nasheh, all the cities with their villages. 10 They did not drive out the Kena‘ani living in Gezer, so the Kena‘ani live together with Efrayim to this day, having become slaves to do the heavy work.

Avi Yakar,

O Great and Glorious GOD! Conqueror and deliverer! I pray for Anthony and I, that we will not be like the Efrayim tribe who couldn't drive out the Canaanites from the land but they had to use them as slaves. Avi, I don't want to use anyone as slave, I want to be able to conquer every battle that YOU have called me to fight and win. Adonai, help me Avi, I know one of the technique is for me to fast, and I would do it but it's become so hard to fast in this house. So I pray Avi, display and show YOUR glory! Avi, I had a strange dream last night I just remembered! I dreamt of being in a house, and going out because Ian was bitten by stray dogs we don't know, and then he was unconscious for a whileMom and Dad was there, Cherry, and then I went in the house, and I see people from church including, sistah Charmaine, her husband I believe was there, and Pastor Timmy and the Co family of Kristin. It was a weird dream, Aunt Ching talked to me, also Kristin but she wasn't as thin in the dream like she is now. She seems content with whatever she is at and I am happy for her. But what does this have to do with the word I receive now? Are the people I see in the dream not able to conquer totally the battles YOU have called them to fight? Oh Adonai, do not allow me to be one of them! What else do YOU want me to do more? So that I can be like a Caleb? Do YOU want me to fast longer days? Or more frequently every week? I can do that... once a week will be good. Oh Adonai! Toda for giving me a word and then reminding me of the dream. I pray for Ian that he will not lose out to the devil, please Avi, whatever he is going through, that YOU will heal him, do not let him die in his spirit but heal him and restore him the joy of YOUR Savation.

 Daniel 12
“When that time comes, Mikha’el, the great prince who champions your people, will stand up; and there will be a time of distress unparalleled between the time they became a nation and that moment. At that time, your people will be delivered, everyone whose name is found written in the book. 2 Many of those sleeping in the dust of the earth will awaken, some to everlasting life and some to everlasting shame and abhorrence. 3 But those who can discern will shine like the brightness of heaven’s dome, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
4 “But you, Dani’el, keep these words secret, and seal up the book until the time of the end. Many will rush here and there as knowledge increases.”
5 Then I, Dani’el, looked; and I saw in front of me two others, one on this bank of the river and the other on its other bank. 6 One of them asked the man dressed in linen who was above the water of the river, “How long will these wonders last?” 7 The man dressed in linen who was above the water of the river raised his right and left hands toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times and a half, and that it will be when the the power of the holy people is no longer being shattered that all these things will end.
8 I heard this, but I couldn’t understand what it meant; so I asked, “Lord, what will be the outcome of all this?” 9 But he said, “Go your way, Dani’el; for these words are to remain secret and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will purify, cleanse and refine themselves; but the wicked will keep on acting wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand. But those with discernment will understand. 11 From the time the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 How blessed will be anyone who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. 13 But you, go your way until the end comes. Then you will rest and rise for your reward, at the end of days.”

Dear my Heavenly Father,

O Wonderful and Glorious GOD! Holy is YOUR Name! Let YOUR Kingdom come let YOUR Will be done!!! This word YOU gave me about Daniel is so significant because it is the culmination of the end times. I love the end times because YOUR coming is very near. I pray Avi, that Anthony Wahl is a student of the mysteries of the end time. I pray we study together and understand exactly what YOU want us to do for YOU and YOUR kingdom in the end times. I want us to live by faith and following YOU wherever YOU go, wherever YOU Spirit takes us. I pray O GOD, Anthony and I are one of 3those who can discern that will shine like the brightness of heaven’s dome, and we are like those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever - in Daniel 12:3. Father, give me a husband who is very similar to me spiritually, so that we can serve YOU together in harmony, give us love and respect for one another, honor and grace to be together in a most loving and frutiful way. O Avi, have YOUR way, I am excited to be with the man YOU have chosen for me. But he has to love me the moment he sees me. I am may not be beautiful to the world, but I am beautiful and the beloved of the ONE YOU have chosen for me. This is my condition, that he will love me unconditionally and I will love him too, but not more than I love YOU.

Luke 2

8 In the countryside nearby were some shepherds spending the night in the fields, guarding their flocks, 9 when an angel of Adonai appeared to them, and the Sh’khinah of Adonai shone around them. They were terrified; 10 but the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, because I am here announcing to you Good News that will bring great joy to all the people. 11 This very day, in the town of David, there was born for you a Deliverer who is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 Here is how you will know: you will find a baby wrapped in cloth and lying in a feeding trough.” 13 Suddenly, along with the angel was a vast army from heaven praising God:
14 “In the highest heaven, glory to God!
And on earth, peace among people of good will!”
15 No sooner had the angels left them and gone back into heaven than the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go over to Beit-Lechem and see this thing that has happened, that Adonai has told us about.” 16 Hurrying off, they came and found Miryam and Yosef, and the baby lying in the feeding trough. 17 Upon seeing this, they made known what they had been told about this child; 18 and all who heard were amazed by what the shepherds said to them. 19 Miryam treasured all these things and kept mulling them over in her heart. 20 Meanwhile, the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen; it had been just as they had been told.
21 On the eighth day, when it was time for his b’rit-milah, he was given the name Yeshua, which is what the angel had called him before his conception.
22 When the time came for their purification according to the Torah of Moshe, they took him up to Yerushalayim to present him to Adonai 23 (as it is written in the Torah of Adonai, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to Adonai”[a]) 24 and also to offer a sacrifice of a pair of doves or two young pigeons,[b] as required by the Torah of Adonai.
25 There was in Yerushalayim a man named Shim‘on. This man was a tzaddik, he was devout, he waited eagerly for God to comfort Isra’el, and the Ruach HaKodesh was upon him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Ruach HaKodesh that he would not die before he had seen the Messiah of Adonai. 27 Prompted by the Spirit, he went into the Temple courts; and when the parents brought in the child Yeshua to do for him what the Torah required, 28 Shim‘on took him in his arms, made a b’rakhah to God, and said,
29 “Now, Adonai, according to your word,
your servant is at peace as you let him go;
30 for I have seen with my own eyes your yeshu‘ah,
31 which you prepared in the presence of all peoples —
32 a light that will bring revelation to the Goyim
and glory to your people Isra’el.”
33 Yeshua’s father and mother were marvelling at the things Shim‘on was saying about him. 34 Shim‘on blessed them and said to the child’s mother, Miryam,
“This child will cause many in Isra’el to fall and to rise,
he will become a sign whom people will speak against;
35 moreover, a sword will pierce your own heart too.
All this will happen in order to reveal many people’s inmost thoughts.”
36 There was also a prophet named Hannah Bat-P’nu’el, of the tribe of Asher. She was a very old woman — she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage 37 and had remained a widow ever since; now she was eighty-four. She never left the Temple grounds but worshipped there night and day, fasting and praying. 38 She came by at that moment and began thanking God and speaking about the child to everyone who was waiting for Yerushalayim to be liberated.
39 When Yosef and Miryam had finished doing everything required by the Torah of Adonai, they returned to the Galil, to their town Natzeret.
40 The child grew and became strong and filled with wisdom — God’s favor was upon him.
48 When his parents saw him, they were shocked; and his mother said to him, “Son! Why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been terribly worried looking for you!” 49 He said to them, “Why did you have to look for me? Didn’t you know that I had to be concerning myself with my Father’s affairs?” 50 But they didn’t understand what he meant.
51 So he went with them to Natzeret and was obedient to them. But his mother stored up all these things in her heart.
52 And Yeshua grew both in wisdom and in stature, gaining favor both with other people and with God.

Dear Avi,

The GREAT I AM, the HOLY ONE of ISRAEL!!! Holy Holy Holy is YOUR Name O GOD! YOU are worthy to be praised, honored and adored and there is no one like YOU!.Toda Raba for everything YOU are doing! Toda for every WORD YOU have spoken to me that I treasure in my heart everyday. And one day it will be that people will tell me things that will make me treasure what YOU are doing in our lives everyday. It will come from people, when they see YOUR glory over us and we will treasure what YOU speak about us through them, just like Joseph and Mary when they had YESHUA, so it will be with Anthony and Marie - me when we are together and we have YOU.
